=== Golden State Warriors Team Report - February 11 ===

(Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors try to stay on the winning track tonight when they welcome the Phoenix Suns to the Arena in the final game for both teams prior to this weekend’s All-Star break.

Golden State comes into tonight’s tilt on a high note after Jason Richardson scored a game-high 22 points in leading the Warriors to a 106-97 victory over Seattle at Key Arena.

Brian Cardinal added 20 points for Golden State, which won on the road for just the second time in its last 16 tries. Clifford Robinson and Speedy Claxton scored 18 and 17 points, respectively, in the victory, as the Warriors won for the fifth time in their last eight tries.

Nick Van Exel sat out his third straight game last night with a hip pointer. Van Exel has missed 11 of the last 13 games for Golden State and his status for tonight’s tilt will be a game-time decision.

Golden State has won five of its last six at home and is 16-8 at home this season.

The Warriors have dropped two of three to the Suns this season and has lost four of the last six and nine of the last 12 matchups. Golden State has also lost four of four of its last six in Oakland against Phoenix.
