(Basketball News) - The Memphis Grizzlies visit the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday at America West Arena. Memphis starts a three-game road trip that also includes stops at Denver and Utah.

The Suns registered a 109-102 win over the Grizzlies on December 23 at America West Arena. Phoenix has won two straight after losing the last two meetings. The Suns have won 23 of 28 and 25 of the last 31 meetings. The Grizzlies have lost five straight at Phoenix.

Memphis has been playing great in the last month, winning nine of 10 and 12 of its last 15 games. The Grizzlies continued their recent success on Monday night, posting a 99-80 win over the Houston Rockets at FedExForum.

Stromile Swift scored 18 points and Jason Williams added 16 to lead the Grizzlies to the victory. Williams was 3-of-5 from three-point range. Pau Gasol contributed 14 points and nine rebounds for the Grizzlies in the win. James Posey and Shane Battier registered 10 points apiece.

Memphis has won seven of its last eight home games and three consecutive road tilts. The Grizzlies, who are beginning a three-game road trip, own an 8-10 road mark this season.

Swift has scored in double-digits in three straight contests. He is averaging 13 points and 4.3 rebounds in that span.

Williams has finished in double-digits in points in four straight games. He is averaging 16.5 points and 5.5 points in that span. The Grizzlies starting points guard has registered double-digits in assists just three times this season.

The Grizzlies visit the Nuggets on Friday and the Jazz on Saturday. Memphis will be playing Denver for the first time this season, while it is 1-0 against Utah.
