Miami Heat Team Report - December 11

(Basketball News) - Dwyane Wade scored 26 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out nine assists to lead Miami over Memphis, 92-84, at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Shaquille O’Neal netted 11 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for the Heat, who won their third straight game.

Memphis held a one-point edge not even two minutes into the fourth, but Wade responded with a bucket to put the Heat ahead, 71-70, and they led the rest of the way.

Miami pushed its advantage to nine at 87-78 with just over two minutes remaining courtesy of a O’Neal bucket.

Memphis got no closer than five the rest of the way as the Grizzlies tallied only 16-fourth quarter points.

Miami returns to action on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
