(Basketball News) - Michael Finley poured in a game-high 30 points and the Dallas Mavericks demolished the San Antonio Spurs, 115-91, in a Midwest Division battle on Thursday at the American Airlines Center.
Dirk Nowitzki had 23 points, six rebounds and five assists for Dallas, which has won four straight games overall and improved to 3-0 in the season series with San Antonio.
Steve Nash added 15 points and nine assists as the Mavericks posted their sixth consecutive victory at home. Antawn Jamison chipped in 13 points and eight boards in the win.
The win for the Mavericks was their second in a row by more than 20 points adn only the sixth this season they have done that after 17 such blowouts last season.
Dallas has won six straight, 10 of 11 and 14 of its last 16 games at home and is 26-4 in its arena this season.
The Mavericks continue their five-game homestand on Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Dallas has beaten the Trail Blazers in two of their three matchups this season and could hold the advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won 14 of the last 19 meetings.
