Kittles out four weeks for Clippers 09.29.2004

Kittles, who was acquired from the New Jersey Nets in the offseason, will participate in a therapy and conditioning program designed to strengthen his right knee.
"We were aware that Kerry underwent an arthroscopic procedure on the knee prior to the (July) trade (which brought him to the Clippers), however he passed his post-trade physical with no problem," said Clippers’ Vice President of Basketball Operations Elgin Baylor. "He later sought a second opinion due to a persistent clicking sound in the knee joint, and was advised that his best course of action was to complete a six-week therapy program, which he initiated two weeks ago."
Kittles has been cleared by the medical staff to play, but he has decided to take advantage of the program to make his knee stronger.
"His progress will be closely monitored by the team’s medical and training staff," said Baylor. "We have every expectation that he will be at full strength and ready to go in time for the beginning of the regular season."
