Los Angeles Clippers Team Report - March 15

(Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Clippers lost their fourth straight game, as they were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks, 101-88, on Sunday at the Staples Center.

LA’s Quentin Richardson registered team highs of 32 points and 11 boards, while Corey Maggette pitched in 25 points and eight rebounds. Elton Brand had a terrible night, shooting just 2-of-11 for a season-low five points, as the Clippers have dropped eight of their last nine.

Clippers forward Chris Wilcox was helped to the locker room in the fourth quarter with a strained right Achilles after a collision with Dallas’ Antawn Jamison. He did not return.

Richardson has averaged 28.5 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in his last two games.

The Clippers are off until Tuesday when they visit the Phoenix Suns. The squads split a pair of contests at the Staples Center earlier this season. The teams will meet again on April 13 at America West Arena.
