Trail Blazers’ Patterson placed on IL

Portland, OR (Basketball News) - The Portland Trail Blazers placed forward Ruben Patterson on the injured list with patellar tendinitis in his right knee.

Patterson has appeared in 55 games this season, including 25 starts, and is averaging 10.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest.

The 29-year-old Patterson is in his fourth season with Portland and has also enjoyed stints with Seattle and the Los Angeles Lakers. In 462 career games, he has posted averages of 9.9 points and 4.1 boards per outing.
