=== Sacramento Kings Team Report - January 20 ===

(Basketball News) - The Sacramento Kings attempt to collect their sixth consecutive victory this evening when they welcome the Portland Trail Blazers to ARCO Arena.

The Kings’ latest win came on Monday, as Peja Stojakovic poured in 31 points in Sacramento’s 125-100 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Bobby Jackson scored 19 points off the bench for the Kings, who have won nine of 10. Vlade Divac added 15 points to go with his eight assists for Sacramento, which placed all five starters in double figures.

Sacramento built the margin to as many as 33 points midway through the fourth quarter and cruised to the victory. The Kings shot 56 percent from the field, including a scorching 10-of-17 from three-point land, for the game.

Sacramento, which is 6-1 in Tuesday games this season, now leads the Los Angeles Lakers by four games in the Pacific Division.

The Kings, who will start a six-game road trip following tonight’s tilt, has won six straight and 11 of their last 12 at home and are an NBA-best 21-2 in their arena this season.

Sacramento, which has split its two meetings with Portland this season, could have the upper hand tonight, as the home team in this series has won nine of the last 12 meetings. The Blazers have also lost six of their last seven in Sacramento.
