(Basketball News) - Sacramento finishes a three-game road trip today in Orlando against the Magic.
The Kings were defeated on Saturday by the Miami Heat, 102-96, at AmericanAirlines Arena. Mike Bibby netted 24 points for the Kings, who fell for the first time in four games. The Kings, who received 22 points and nine boards from Chris Webber, have lost seven of eight and 13 of their last 15 at Miami.
The game was knotted at 84-84, but the Heat tallied 10 of the next 14 points and they led the rest of the way. Rafer Alston capped off the burst with a three- pointer with 2:05 to play to put Miami ahead, 94-88.
The closest that Sacramento could cut the deficit was to three when Webber drilled a triple from the right corner that made it a 99-96 contest with just 22.8 seconds remaining.
But Eddie Jones hit one-of-two free throws on the ensuing possession when the Kings were forced to foul and Sacramento failed to score again.
The Kings are 18-11 on the road this season.
Against the Magic, Sacramento has won two straight and three of the last four meetings. The Kings have lost two straight after winning their last two at Orlando.
Sacramento is 12-2 in Sunday games this season.
