Oklahoma City, OK (Basketball News) - P.J. Brown’s layup at the buzzer lifted the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets to an 89-88 win over Houston in preseason action from the Ford Center.

J.R. Smith led the Hornets with 18 points, while Bostjan Nachbar netted 17. Brown and David West each ended with 13 points in the win.

Derek Anderson scored 18 points to pace the Rockets and Yao Ming posted 16 points and nine rebounds. Juwan Howard also had 16 points before fouling out.
