New York, NY (Basketball News) - John Salmons poured in a game-high 30 points to lead Philadelphia past New York, 114-99, in preseason action at Madison Square Garden.
Salmons was 7-of-11 from the field and made good on 16-of-21 free throws. Kevin Ollie and Andre Iguodala both netted 15 points and Kyle Korver finished with 14 for the Sixers, who shot 36-of-73 from the floor (49 percent).
Philadelphia, which is 3-1 in the preseason was without All-Star guard Allen Iverson who sat out with right knee chonromalacia.
Rookie Nate Robinson scored 16 points while newly-acquired center Eddy Curry had a team-high 15 points for the Knicks, who fell behind by 16 points after one quarter and never recovered.
Jamal Crawford had 14 points and seven assists in the loss.
