The Clippers played without Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas, who were traded to New York earlier in the evening.
Nets 129, Raptors 127 Chris Bosh should consider not scoring 40 points anymore. Both times he has done it this season his team has lost, this time in overtime against New Jersey. Former Raptor Vince Carter won this game on a reverse alley-oop off of an inbounds pass with less than two seconds to go. Carter would finish with 39 points, nine rebounds and six assists, all team highs. Devin Harris added 30 for the Nets. Grizzlies 76, Mavericks 91 In a game where neither team managed to shoot 40%, the Mavs used strong performances by Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd to extend their winning strak to four. Nowitzki had 25 points and 10 boards and Kidd 18 and 13 of his own. O.J. Mayo would pace the Grizzlies with 19. Knicks 87, Bucks 104 The box score will say DNP-Coach’s Decision next to Stephon Marbury’s name. According to New York Coach Mike D’Antoni, that decision actually belonged to Marbury on a night when trades and injuries left the Knicks with only eight players in uniform. The details of the game have been lost in the chatter of the ongoing Marbury/D’Antoni fiasco. But do you really care anyway? Don’t forget, vote Marbury as an ASG starter. Jazz 94, Spurs 119 A Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer-less Jazz squad could not keep up with the Spurs last night, thanks in part to Roger Mason and George Hill’s 52 combined points. Ronnie Brewer scored 17 and C.J. Miles 16 for Utah.

Nuggets 90, Lakers 104 L.A. used a strong first quarter to put the Nuggets in a hole and cruised the rest of the way. Kobe Bryant’s 29 points came in 30 minutes as he sat out the fourth quarter. J.R. Smith and Nene led the Nuggets with 18 points each.
