Dalembert 14

REBS

Howard, Lewis, Turkoglu 8

Iguodala 8

ASTS

Nelson 9

Notes: Teams that shoot under 40% will rarely win games. The sooner teams figure that out, the better. Elton Brand wasn’t signed to only shoot the ball eight times in 35 minutes while Andre Miller shoots 24. Yes, Brand faced double teams most of the night, but they really have to find a way to get him shots.

Rockets 99

Blazers 101

McGrady 30

PTS

Aldridge 27

McGrady, Hayes 7

REBS

Outlaw 13

McGrady 8

ASTS

Blake 8

Notes: Great finish to a game with three potential game-winners. Great shot by Brandon Roy to end it, but why was he that wide open? A very closely contested game, played pretty evenly—but why is Houston getting killed on the glass like that? Not something you expect from a veteran team.
