(Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Seattle SuperSonics, 94-79, on Thursday afternoon at Philips Arena.
Antoine Walker’s 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists led Atlanta, which has lost three consecutive games and eight of its last nine outings. The Hawks have been awful at home losing 11 of their last 13 at Philips Arena.
Coming off a season-high 31 points, Al Harrington was harassed into just 5- of-15 shooting from the field for 15 points to go along with nine rebounds and four assists in defeat. Harrington has now scored in double-digits in 25 of 28 contests this season.
Walker, who has been the subject of trade rumors, has scored in double digits in six straight games. He is averaging 17.2 points and nine rebounds in that span.
The Hawks are off until Sunday when they visit the Washington Wizards at the MCI Center. Earlier this season, the Wizards defeated Atlanta, 114-90, on December 3 at Philips Arena.
