Bobcats dealing with road rage 04.5.2006

Charlotte has lost six in a row on the road and is a dreadful 2-20 in its last 22 games away from North Carolina. Despite already eclipsing last year’s total of 18 total wins, it is Charlotte’s road record that has hindered further success.
Owners of a 6-31 road mark this season, the Bobcats will play four of their remaining seven games on the road to close out the 2005-06 season. They are tied with Portland for the worst road record in the NBA.
Charlotte will visit the New Jersey Nets on Thursday at Continental Airlines Arena, then head north for a battle with the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Center.
Thursday’s game between Charlotte and New Jersey is the fourth and final meeting of the season. The Nets own a 2-1 lead this season, while the Bobcats snapped a five-game series losing streak on December 14.
The Bobcats defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Tuesday for just their third win in 12 games. Brevin Knight posted a team-high 24 points and dished out eight assists for the Bobcats. Raymond Felton had 17 points, while Primoz Brezec and Matt Carroll each added 14 points in the victory.
