On Monday, Raymond Felton scored a career-high 24 points, as the Bobcats defeated the Seattle SuperSonics, 119-106. Melvin Ely and Jumaine Jones each recorded 23 points and Brevin Knight contributed 15 points, as Charlotte won back-to-back games for the first time since December 27 and 28.
Felton also had nine assists, while Knight contributed nine assists, seven rebounds and six steals.
The Bobcats connected on a season-high 56.6 percent of their shots from the field, had three players score at least 23 points and had five in all reach double figures.
Charlotte, which had lost a franchise-record 13 straight games prior to its current run, has won two in a row four times this season after doing it three times in its inaugural campaign.
On the injury front guard Keith Bogans, who has been sidelined since suffering a sprained MCL in a loss to Milwaukee on January 21, has resumed practicing with the team, but likely won’t return until Friday.
Even with Bogans’ return the Bobcats are still without forwards Emeka Okafor (ankle), Gerald Wallace (knee) and Sean May (knee), all of whom are sidelined indefinitely.
The Bobcats, who will close this stand against Toronto on Friday, are 9-15 in their building this season.
Charlotte split its two matchups with Philadelphia this season, but has dropped four of the five all-time meetings.
