Toronto slipped to an NBA-worst 4-19 on Friday as it was dealt a 108-98 setback at the hands of the Golden State Warriors. Bosh scored a game- high 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting for the Raptors, who have dropped two in a row and four of their last five.
Bosh, who leads the team with 22.4 points and 9.7 boards-per-game, has scored at least 20 points in each of his last seven games.
Charlie Villanueva poured in 18 points and collected nine boards, and Jose Calderon added 15 points and 11 assists in the loss.
Toronto cut the lead to seven points with 6:21 remaining in the game on a Mike James three-pointer. However, the Warriors answered with a three-ball of their own at the other end and the Raptors did not threaten after that.
Today the Raptors will try and get back on the winning track when they conclude a three-game homestand against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Air Canada Centre.
The Raptors, who will hit the road for four games after tonight’s contest, have lost five straight at home and are just 1-11 in their arena this season.
The Sixers have defeated the Raptors twice already this season and have won five of the last six meetings. Philly has also had success north of the border, where it has won two of three and six of its last eight.
