Wagner was hospitalized Monday after missing two games with intestinal flu. He will be sidelined indefinitely and is not expected to join the team when it travels to Los Angeles to begin a six-game road trip Thursday.
Since joining Cleveland, Wagner has sustained a series of medical problems dating back to his rookie season in 2002-03. He missed 35 games during that campaign, including his first 14 due to surgery for a bladder infection. Last season, Wagner was limited to just 44 games because of knee surgery as well as an inflamed liver and pancreas.
In 11 games this season, Wagner is averaging four points while shooting 33 percent from the floor. A native of Camden, New Jersey, Wagner posted 13.4 points per contest in 2002-03 to go along with 1.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
