(Basketball News) - Jalen Rose scored 20 points and Eddy Curry added 16 with 14 rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to an 89-82 victory over the Boston Celtics Wednesday at FleetCenter.
Scottie Pippen, who was questionable with a sore left knee, contributed 12 points in the victory. Kendall Gill also had 12 points for the Bulls, who matched their road win total of last season with their third straight victory of the young season away from home.
The Bulls finished 3-38 on the road last season.
Chicago won in Boston for just the second time in six tries.
Chicago shot 9-for-18 as a team from beyond the arc,
Chicago forward Tyson Chandler missed his third straight contest with a bruised lower back.
The Bulls host Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
