=== Dallas Mavericks Team Report - February 15 ===

(Basketball News) - The Dallas Mavericks attempt to win their third straight game on Tuesday, as they visit the Golden State Warriors at The Arena in Oakland.

This is the third meeting of the season between the clubs. In the two previous contests, the teams split a pair of games at American Airlines Center. The squads will play one final time in the 2004-05 campaign, as the Warriors will host the Mavericks once again on March 23rd.

The Warriors have won two of the last three contests in this series. The Mavericks have won 10 of their last 12 at Golden State.

On Sunday, Jason Terry’s three-pointer with 8.9 seconds left in the game capped a huge comeback as the Mavericks defeated the Seattle SuperSonics, 95-92, at KeyArena. All-Star Dirk Nowitzki had 31 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, as the Mavericks outscored the Sonics 15-2 down the stretch to notch the victory.

Dallas is 23-7 when it allows under 100 points this season.

On the injury front, Dallas guard Jerry Stackhouse (groin) is doubtful for tonight’s game. He did not play against Seattle and has missed seven contests this season.

The Mavericks are 16-7 as the visitor this season. Dallas is playing the third of a five-game road trip, as the Mavericks are scheduled to visit the Phoenix Suns on Thursday and the Utah Jazz after the All-Star break.

Nowitzki, who is a reserve for the West in Sunday’s All-Star Game, has scored 20 or more points in 23 of his last 24 games and has recorded 11 double- doubles in that span. The 26-year-old forward is averaging 26.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game his season.
