Finley returns for Mavericks

Finley missed 15 contests after spraining his right ankle versus Orlando on November 9 in Dallas’ fifth game of the season. He averaged 17 points and 4.6 rebounds before getting injured.

The Mavericks were 9-6 in Finley’s absence, but will face the team tied for the best record in the league in the Sonics (16-3).

To make room on the active roster, Dallas placed rookie center D.J. Mbenga on the injured list with a strained right hamstring.
