Christie has averaged just 5.7 points and 25 minutes in 21 games with the Magic since being acquired from Sacramento for Cuttino Mobley and Michael Bradley on January 10.
In 52 games with the Kings and Magic this season, the 34-year-old Christie is averaging a combined 6.6 points, 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds per contest.
The Magic activated center Mario Kasun from the injured list to fill Christie’s roster spot. Kasun, who missed 21 games with left knee patella tendinitis, is averaging 2.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 25 games this season.
