NBA fines Hawks’ Mike Woodson and Josh Smith fined

Atlanta, GA (Basketball News) - Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Woodson and forward Josh Smith were fined by the NBA for publicly criticizing the referees after Monday’s loss to Milwaukee.

Woodson was fined $20,000 while Smith will pay $15,000 for complaining about the lack of calls they feel the Hawks are getting from officiating crews.

Smith is averaging 9.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.
