Orlando Magic Team Report - April 1

(Basketball News) - The Orlando Magic lost to the Chicago Bulls, 109-91, on Wednesday at the United Center.

Juwan Howard had 26 points and seven rebounds for the Magic, who have dropped nine straight contests and will play the remainder of the season without All- Star guard Tracy McGrady, who was placed on the injured list on Wednesday with patella tendinitis in his left knee.

Tyronn Lue scored 23 points and Drew Gooden added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.

The Magic are off until Friday when they host the Atlanta Hawks. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. The Magic are 3-0 against the Hawks.

Howard has scored in double digits in 20 straight games. He has averaged 19 points and 8.4 rebounds in his last 10 contests.
