Paul and Felton earn NBA rookie honors 03.1.2006

Paul captured the Western Conference honor for the fourth-straight month. The fourth overall pick of the 2005 NBA Draft averaged 17.2 points, 9.5 assists and 2.2 steals during February. He leads all rookies in scoring, assists, and steals.
Felton garnered the Eastern Conference award by scoring double-figures in nine of 11 games. In a 136-121 loss to Phoenix, the fifth overall pick in the draft posted a single-game rookie scoring high of 31 points. For the season, Felton ranks third in scoring, and second in assists and steals among rookies.
Other nominees for the rookie awards were Indiana’s Danny Granger, Toronto’s Charlie Villanueva and Utah’s Deron Williams.
