This is the second meeting of the season. On November 12th, Jason Williams poured in 22 points and dished out seven assists as the Heat led the entire way for a 108-99 victory over the Bobcats at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Miami has won four of the five games in the series.
Charlotte returns home after going winless on a three-game road trip. On Wednesday, Tracy McGrady had 29 points and eight rebounds to lead the Houston Rockets to a 102-78 victory over the Bobcats at the Toyota Center.
Matt Carroll led a balanced Charlotte attack with a season-high 19 points and Brevin Knight netted 14 and dished out seven assists in the loss to Houston for the Bobcats, who have lost 13 of their last 14 games overall.
The Bobcats are 7-12 at home this season.
The Heat try to get back on the winning track as they play the first of a brief two-game road trip. On Thursday, Raja Bell scored 22 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 107-98 victory over Miami at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Dwyane Wade paced the Heat with 25 points in the loss to Phoenix, while James Posey and Udonis Haslem scored 16 apiece. Shaquille O’Neal added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Miami, which had a two-game winning streak halted.
Miami, which will visit the Houston Rockets on Sunday, is 11-12 on the road this season.
