The writer goes behind the scenes — into restaurants, bedrooms and NBA conference rooms from coast to coast — drawing from press reports and her own imagination to deconstruct the bigger-than-life world of professional basketball to fullfill the fantasy of Jordan’s fans and have him return to the NBA.
