Hosted by hip-hop artist/actor Mos Def, currently in the motion picture The Italian Job, The Block Party will originate from Rucker Park, New York, home of the Entertainer’s Basketball Classic. The nine-week series will debut on the eve of summer, Friday, June 20 at 7 p.m. ET. The first two hours will feature a variety of segments, including: <BR> The 9-11 p.m. portion of The Block Party will consist of ESPN2 Friday Night Fights. Studio host Brian Kenny teams with analyst Max Kellerman, a Sports Emmy nominee and voted one of the "10 Coolest Personalities" by TV Guide in 2001, while Joe Tessitore calls the fight action with Teddy Atlas, Mike Tyson’s original trainer, from venues across the country.
