Joined Mix Tape Tour: The Professor is the newest member of the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour, winning an endorsement contract after battling it out on ESPN’s "Street Ball: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour presented by Mountain Dew Code Red" last summer. He had planned to mow lawns and bag groceries all of last summer, but instead found his way to becoming the next playground legend and earning a spot on the Tour. He was picked up in Portland during the Open Run, which was the second city on the 2003 tour. He played in his first game in Phoenix, as one of the contestants on the ESPN show "StreetBall: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour", then competed through the end of the summer. He hit game winning shots in Jackson and NYC at Madison Square Garden and was eventually selected by the AND 1 Mix Tape players as the next streetball legend and received an AND 1 endorsement deal to join the 2004 team.

Professor you are the nicest streetball kid I’ve seen play basketball but the talk of Detroit is LaCurtis Bland aka Da Spirit, LaCurtis Bland aka Da Spirit, LaCurtis Bland aka Da Spirit, a 5 foot 6 Muslim kid with some mean handles. I heard a stories once when he was at Detroit Job Corp playing in the gym and made a guy stubble off a very simple crossover, another story was that he crossed up this cat so quickly and made him fall, another story was that while he was at school at Detroit Job Corp, he was handling the rock and happening to see the sun set and realise it was time for him to pray he dropped the ball and ran off the court to pray. They say he’s got some clips on youtube. .

he is my favorite street baller. He is the best ever. And 1 is made for him,and he always show his best. I bought his dress and I wearing him every day when I go to the street court on Cvjetno naselje in Zagreb.I hope that he will come on my court and than I can show him what I learn from him and beat him on 1 on 1. Yo.....Professor is killin....But on the real, this fool G Pymm up in Ct has been destroyin cats up at the rucker...He comes down on Metro North and gives it to cats at west 4th before his Rucker game...I think he got a leg up on professor for white point guards....That’s real talk right there...out! .
