LeBron James Got Hair Plugs

LeBron James got hair plugs this summer.

HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: If it works for Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, Steve Carelll, Jeremy Piven, and Brendan Fraser why not the King.

LeBron captured his first NBA championship last year and decided it was time to squash his last remaining tormentor, his receding hairline. LeBron wasn’t going to go the Rogaine way either. He decided to face is ever vanishing hairline like a man and get some good old fashion surgery.

Although this is as of yet unconfirmed, photos don’t lie and the proof is certainly in the photos. Yes, I know technically photos lie all the time these day (aka Photoshop), but this isn’t just photos. His hair is there in real life too. LeBron hasn’t had this much hair on his head since he was 12-years old.

Now, I know a lot of people are going to ridicule LeBron, but pump your breaks for a second. Plenty of Hollywood stars have gotten similar surgeries and we’ve let them slide by relatively unscathed. Matthew McConaughey, Jeremy Piven, Brendan Fraser, Steve Carell, John Travolta, and Ben Affleck have all undergone some form of hair surgery. Some of these even now still attempt to deny they had surgery, but ask any bald man in America and he’ll tell you hair doesn’t just grow back from wishful thinking.

LeBron’s lovely locks are here to stay if his surgeon has anything to say about it. These types of surgeries can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars for high-end work like these stars demand. If you get the work done on the cheap like a buddy of mine, you can expect to get what you pay for and look like a Cabbage Patch doll someone attacked with a Ginsu knife. The only question now is whether LeBron will eventually confirm the surgery.
