NBA Brothers Who Played On Same Team.

Golden State Warriors sign Seth Curry to accompany Stephen to bring these two brothers together.

HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: Two brothers playing in the NBA is rare enough, but on the same team is almost unheard of.

With the Golden State Warriors signing Seth Curry to a non-guarantee contract on Friday, this could pull off one of sports rarest combos, brothers on the same NBA team. The likelihood of Seth making the Warriors is slim as most of the slots are already set, but he will be given a solid look during training camp. Seth averaged 17.5 PPG shooting 46.5 percent in his final season at Duke. His brother Stephen Curry is of course one of the leagues premier 3-point specialists.

The combination of brothers playing in the NBA is rare enough, but the combination of brothers on the same team is extremely exclusive. Here’s a list of the very few brother combos that are in this club.

Tyler and Ben Hansbrough: Played together on the Indiana Pacers. If you think for a second playing with your brother is the same as playing with other players watch Tyler stick up for his brother in the scrum. Got to love that brotherly love.

Dominique and Gerald Wilkins: Spent part of one season together in Orlando.

Brent and Mark Price: Spent a season together in Washington.

Dick and Tom Van Arsdale: Played their last season together in Phoenix.

Marcus and Markieff Morris: Also played for the Phoenix Suns together. These two aren’t just brothers. They’re also twins.
