Loyola fires Farmer

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – Loyola of Chicago has fired men’s basketball
coach Larry Farmer.

According to Loyola’s director of sports information Bill Behrns, a search
would begin immediately for a successor.

In six seasons, Farmer recorded a 73-102 record. This season, the Ramblers
finished 9-20 overall and 4-12 in the Horizon League.

Farmer was an outstanding player at UCLA under the legendary John Wooden from
1970-73.
