Will Mike Bibby pout with Washington Wizards?

The Atlanta Hawks tonight acquired guard Kirk Hinrich and center/forward Hilton Armstrong from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans, Jordan Crawford and Atlanta’s 2011 first round draft pick.

HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: Will Mike Bibby once again pout?

Years ago Bibby stuck out his bottom lip, sulked, and looked on the verge of tears after getting drafted second overall by the Vancouver Grizzlies.

Now Bibby had the right to feel frustrated, as the Grizzlies were the worst team and organization in the NBA and possibly pro sports.

However, his histrionics occurred in front of the hometown faithful. Yes, the draft was in Vancouver and Bibby still behaved like a Hollywood socialite when attacking the paparazzi.

As the kids say, this was not a good look. How will Bibby handle the trade to the Washington Wizards?

The Atlanta Hawks are regulars in the NBA’s second season, while the Wizards are stuck in the Eastern Conference cellar with little chance of leaving anytime soon.

Even worse, Bibby won’t even start at point guard. That distinction belongs to 2010 first overall pick and Rookie of the Year candidate John Wall.

So Bibby in DC should be awfully interesting.
