Rumore: Ray Allen Wants To Play For Either Miami or NYC.

Boston 3-point specialist Ray Allen wants to play for either Miami of New York next year.

HoopsVibe Very Quick Call: Damn Ray, the season isn’t even over yet and you’re making moves.

Sports Illustrated reporter Chris Mannix reported that Ray Allen told him in an interview that the two teams he would most like to play for next year are Miami and New York. Allen’s 3-point shooting would be a great addition to either team, although it’s easier to see him competing for a championship in Miami where they are on the brink of a ring. New York still hasn’t figured out how their offense works or how Anthony, Lin, and Stoudemire all co-exist.

The real question with Allen’s potential move to Miami is where does the money come from. One scenario that has been floating around the NBA is that if the Heat don’t win the championship this year Bosh may be traded. If Miami is able to get Bosh’s pay off their books that would free up enough dinero for Allen and another solid role player that could help stretch a defense and enable LeBron and Wade to increase their effectiveness.
