Jordan Flu Shoes To Auction

Ball Boy talked MJ out of his famous shoes for a little apple sauce.

HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: What would you pay for a piece of history?

The most famous pair of Michael Jordan sneakers will be up for auction November 18 – December 11th. The bidding will start at $5,000, but the famous pair of Jordans are expected to go for far more than this entry level bid. If you are interested in getting in on this legendary auction go to to check out the action.

The pair of sneakers became the property of a ball boy in Salt Lake City following Michael Jordan's legendary 38 point "flu game" performance against the Utah Jazz 1996. Jordan gave them to the ball boy because of his ability to make sure Jordan had his favorite snack, apple sauce, always on hand while in Salt Lake City.

Now that Preston Truman, the ball boy, is 35-years old he has finally decided to, "get those things out of here." Collectors and basketball fans alike are intrigued as to how much this piece of sports memorabilia history will fetch.
