Memphis Grizzlies Team Report – December 4

=== Memphis Grizzlies Team Report – December 4 ===

(Sports Network) – The Memphis Grizzlies snapped a five-game losing streak
with Friday’s home victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Pau Gasol finished
with a season-high 34 points and 15 rebounds to lead Memphis to the 94-86 win
at FedExForum.

Mike Miller added 19 points for the Grizzlies, who won their first game under
new head coach Mike Fratello. Fratello replaced interim coach Hugh Hollins,
who filled in for Hubie Brown — who had resigned earlier in the season for
health reasons.

Shane Battier contributed 12 points, as the Grizzlies won for just the fifth
time in their last 17 meetings with the Sixers.

Memphis will visit the Orlando Magic on Saturday night at TD Waterhouse

This is the first meeting of the season between these teams, but Memphis has
swept the season series in each of the last two seasons (4-0). The four
straight wins for the Grizzlies have come after dropping the previous nine
matchups in a row. The Grizzlies are just 2-6 all-time in Orlando.
