Miami Heat Team Report – December 4

=== Miami Heat Team Report – December 4 ===

(Sports Network) – The Miami Heat will continue their four-game road trip
this evening, as they travel to the Mile High City to battle the Denver
Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.

The Heat picked up an easy win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night to open
up their swing. Christian Laettner scored a game-high 23 points to lead Miami
to the 105-81 victory at the United Center.

Eddie Jones added 21 points and Shaquille O’Neal netted 18 points and grabbed
seven boards for the Heat, who have won two of their last three games. Dwyane
Wade chipped in 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the win.

The win placed Miami into a virtual tie with intrastate rival Orlando for
first place in the Southeast Division.

Tonight’s game marks the first meeting of the season between the Heat and
Nuggets after the teams split a pair of encounters last year. Miami ended a
three-game series losing streak in the last matchup on February 21, but has
won 14 of the last 17 tilts. Miami has dropped two straight in Denver.
