(Sports Network) – The Cleveland Cavaliers posted a victory over the visiting
Toronto Raptors on Saturday night at Gund Arena.

Drew Gooden and LeBron James each scored 27 points to lead Cleveland to the
105-97 win.

Gooden pulled down 15 rebounds and James added 10 assists for the Cavaliers,
who have won five of their last six games and are in sole possession of first
place for the first time since December 19, 2000. Zydrunas Ilgauskas finished
with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

The Raptors pulled within 91-90 on a running layup by Rafer Alston with 3:40
left in the fourth quarter, but Cleveland responded with eight straight points
to pull away.

The Cavs will complete their brief two-game homestand with Tuesday’s game
against the New Jersey Nets.
