(Sports Network) – The Toronto Raptors fell to the New Jersey Nets, 88-86, on
Monday at Continental Airlines Arena.

Vince Carter returned from a one-game absence as a result of food poisoning
and led the Raptors with 22 points. However, his potential game-tying basket
at the buzzer bounced out and Toronto was handed its fourth straight setback.

Chris Bosh ended with 15 points for the Raptors, who are 1-4 on their current
six-game road trip. Donyell Marshall and Lamond Murray each had 13 points off
the bench for Toronto, which has dropped three straight and 13 of 17 to the

Bosh has scored in double-digits in three straight games. He is averaging 13.3
points and 7.7 rebounds in that span.

The Raptors are off until Wednesday when they visit the Detroit Pistons.
