=== Golden State Warriors Team Report – December 8 ===

(Sports Network) – The Golden State Warriors lost to the Phoenix Suns,
118-104, on Tuesday at America West Arena.

Jason Richardson led the way for the Warriors with 32 points and 10 rebounds.
Mike Dunleavy chipped in 24 points and 13 rebounds for Golden State, which saw
a brief two-game winning streak halted.

The Suns trailed 92-85 with over 10 minutes to play in regulation, but used an
amazing 21-0 run to go ahead 106-92. After 12 straight points gave them the
lead with six minutes left, Steve Nash nailed a three-pointer to stake the
Suns to an eight-point advantage. On the Warriors next possession, a steal by
Shawn Marion led to a flagrant foul.

Marion hit from the charity stripe and when the Suns got the ball back due to
the nature of the infraction, they couldn’t score. However, on offensive foul
on Golden State gave the ball right back to Phoenix and Amare Stoudemire
connected from the paint for a 103-92 lead before a trey by Joe Johnson capped
the tremendous surge at 4:34. Golden State went seven minutes and 17 seconds
without a field goal. The run was too much for the Warriors, who were
outscored 35-17 in the final stanza.

Richardson has scored in double-digits in 12 straight and 17 of Golden State’s
18 games this season. He leads the team in scoring (19.3 ppg).

The Warriors are off until Friday when they host Grant Hill and the Orlando
Magic. Last season, the teams split a pair of contests.
