=== Cleveland Cavaliers Team Report – December 8 ===

(Sports Network) – The Cleveland Cavaliers will aim for their fourth straight
victory this evening, when they visit the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

The Cavaliers’ latest win came on Tuesday night against New Jersey. LeBron
James poured in a team-high 27 points, Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 19 and
Cleveland edged New Jersey, 103-97, at the Gund Arena

Jeff McInnis and Drew Gooden each netted 16 for Cleveland, which has won eight
in a row at home. Lucious Harris came off the bench to collect 11 points,
including a clutch three late in the game against his former team.

In a tightly contested fourth quarter, Cleveland took a slim 95-92 lead on
McInnis’ short jumper with 2:09 left in the contest. The lead would double
moments later as James steal and subsequent breakaway dunk extended the Cavs
lead to 99-93 with 1:20 remaining in the game.

The Nets, though, made it interesting by trimming the deficit to 100-97 on a
tip-in by Jason Collins with 31.2 seconds left.

However, Lucious Harris, a one time Net, drained a trey from the corner as the
shot clock expired, sealing the contest at 103-97 with six seconds remaining.

Tonight’s game is the second meeting of the season between these teams. The
Cavs posted a 96-74 victory at Gund Arena on November 27 and have won seven of
the last 13 matchups. However, the Bulls have won three of four and five of
the last seven meetings in Chicago.
