(Sports Network) – The Timberwolves registered a 119-84 beating of the
Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center on Wednesday night.

Eddie Griffin came off the bench to burn the 76ers for a career-high 27 points
and 11 rebounds in the victory. Griffin drained 7-of-15 three-pointers in the
winning effort.

Latrell Sprewell poured in 24 points and Kevin Garnett added 19 points, eight
rebounds and seven assists for Minnesota, winners of five of its last six
contests. Wally Szczerbiak chipped in 12 points in the lopsided victory.

Sprewell returned to the lineup after being suspended Tuesday night by the NBA
for yelling a sexual vulgarity at a fan in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Minnesota has won five of the last eight meetings with Philadelphia…The
Timberwolves are 8-3 on the road this season.

The T’wolves made 15-of-33 three-pointers, while the 76ers buried only 4-of-25
from beyond the arc.

Minnesota has a day off before hosting Sacramento at the Target Center on
Friday night.
