NBA suspends Nuggets’ White

New York, NY (Sports Network) – The NBA on Thursday suspended Denver Nuggets
forward Rodney White for one game without pay for pleading guilty to unlawful
possession of a weapon.

White spent two weeks in jail in September after being arrested with another
man for allegedly shooting randomly into the air. On Tuesday, he pleaded
guilty to two weapons charges and was sentenced to 100 hours of community

White, who is averaging 6.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16 games this season,
will miss Friday’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
