(Sports Network) – The Minnesota Timberwolves take aim at their third
consecutive win this evening when they head to the windy city to face the
Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

Minnesota has dominated this series of late and has won the last 10 matchups
dating back to April 3, 1998. The Timberwolves, who have won 11 of the last 12
overall meetings, have also won five straight in Chicago.

Last night, Kevin Garnett poured in 35 points, hauled in 18 rebounds and
dished out nine assists to lead Minnesota to a 113-105 win over Sacramento at
the Target Center.

Eddie Griffin added 18 points and seven boards while Sam Cassell chipped in 15
points for the Timberwolves, who have won seven of their last eight games.

Griffin is averaging 11 points and seven rebounds in 16 games after being out
of the league for 17 months.

Minnesota, which will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, is 8-3 away
from home this season.
