Utah Jazz Team Report – December 13

=== Utah Jazz Team Report – December 13 ===

(Sports Network) – The Utah Jazz found themselves on the wrong end of a 98-88
decision against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.

Raja Bell tallied 21 points for the Jazz, who have dropped seven of eight.
Matt Harpring added 19 points and Carlos Arroyo had 12 points and 12 assists
for Utah, which rallied from an 11-point third-quarter deficit only to lose
for just third time in four outings to Portland.

After the Jazz overcame a 61-50 deficit to take a 62-61 edge and go into the
fourth down only 70-68, Portland started to pull away for good.

Leading 71-70 early in the final stanza, an 11-2 burst gave the Blazers an
82-72 cushion. Zach Randolph had four points during the run and a Joel
Przybilla basket with 4:59 elapsed in the quarter capped the spurt.

Later in the frame, six straight points extended the Portland lead to 90-76
with 3:55 remaining. Darius Miles nailed a jumper and then capped the spurt
with a dunk to give Portland its largest lead of the game.

Utah returns to action on Tuesday versus the LA Clippers.
