(Sports Network) – The Golden State Warriors play the New Orleans Hornets
tonight at New Orleans Arena. With a victory tonight, the Warriors can secure
their first three-game win streak since they won seven straight games from
March 15-28 of last season.

The Warriors and Hornets met on November 23 in Oakland and Golden State posted
a thrilling triple-overtime victory. The win snapped a two-game series losing
streak for the Warriors and was just the second victory in 11 tries for Golden
State in the series. The Warriors have also dropped seven straight on the road
against the Hornets.

Golden State won its second straight contest with a surprising victory in
Dallas on Tuesday.

Speedy Claxton notched his second double-double of the season with 18 points
and 10 assists along with seven rebounds to lead Golden State over Dallas
111-107, at American Airlines Center.

Clifford Robinson netted 25 points and grabbed seven boards for the Warriors,
who won on the road against the Mavericks for the first time since April 10,
1999, a span of 12 straight losses. Overall, Golden State won for the fourth
time in its last six games this season.
