=== Los Angeles Clippers Team Report – December 22 ===

(Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Clippers got back on the winning track
with a victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday.

Rick Brunson recorded 11 of his 18 points in overtime as the Clippers stopped
a five-game losing streak with the 100-91 victory at the Staples Center.

Bobby Simmons matched a career-high with 30 points and Elton Brand compiled 23
points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers.

Brunson added 10 assists to help Los Angeles rebound from blowing a 21-point
third-quarter lead.

Brunson began overtime with a three-pointer and followed with a jumper to
extend the Clippers’ edge to five. After the teams traded baskets, Brunson
nailed back-to-back shots from beyond the arc to put Los Angeles in front
94-83 with 1:18 left.

The Clippers played without leading scorer Corey Maggette and starting point
guard Marko Jaric. Maggette sat out with an injured groin and Jaric was
suffering from a strained right foot.

LA also placed guard Kerry Kittles on the injured list Tuesday with a back
injury, his second stint on the IL this season. Kittles has played in just
five games due to knee and back problems.

The Clippers are off until Sunday when they will visit the Houston Rockets at
the Toyota Center.
