New Orleans Hornets Team Report – December 27

=== New Orleans Hornets Team Report – December 27 ===

(Sports Network) – The New Orleans Hornets try to put the brakes on a five-
game losing streak this evening when they close a five-game road trip against
the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.

New Orleans’ latest loss came on Sunday, as it was dealt a 100-91 setback at
the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers at Gund Arena. Lee Nailon paced the
Hornets with 18 points, while David Wesley added 14, as New Orleans dropped to
a league worst 2-24 on the season.

Baron Davis, playing in just his second game after missing 19 with an inflamed
disk in his lower back, connected on 4-of-5 shots from beyond the arc and
ended with 14 points in 19 minutes.

New Orleans, which has dropped 12 straight on the road, is a dismal 1-13 away
from home this season.

New Orleans could have the advantage in tonight’s contest, as the road team in
this series has won five of seven and six of the last nine meetings. The
Hornets have also won their last two overall versus the Pacers and have won
two of their last three in Indiana.
