(Sports Network) – Michael Redd scored a season-best 39 points and Milwaukee
staved off Chicago’s second-half comeback attempt to post a 99-92 triumph on
Sunday at the Bradley Center.

Joe Smith compiled 21 points and nine rebounds, while Desmond Mason added 13
points to help the Bucks put an end to a five-game slide.

Chicago has lost 13 straight in Milwaukee, with their last victory coming on
March 29, 1998.

Milwaukee’s Keith Van Horn missed his seventh straight game with tendinitis in
his right ankle. Redd’s previous season-high of 33 points was set November 17
against Miami.

Redd has scored in double-digits in 20 of Milwaukee’s 23 games this season. He
leads the Bucks in scoring at 22.3 points per game.

The Bucks are off until Tuesday when they host the Houston Rockets. It will be
the first of two meetings between the teams. They will play once again on
December 31st at the Toyota Center.
