(Sports Network) – The Grizzlies registered a 96-76 victory over the Los
Angeles Clippers at FedExForum on Monday night.

Pau Gasol had 24 points and eight rebounds to lead the Grizzlies to the
victory. Bonzi Wells added 18 points for the Grizzlies, who received points
from 11 of the 12 players that saw action but none others were in double
figures. Combined, Gasol and Wells shot 16-of-30 from the floor, as the
Grizzlies ended a two-game slide.

The Grizzlies began to build their lead in the first quarter. Ahead 10-6
midway through the stanza, Memphis finished the frame with a 19-6 run to open
up a 29-12 advantage heading into the second. Gasol had eight points during
the burst, giving the club a 17-point cushion.

The Clippers stayed within striking distance in the second quarter, going into
halftime down just 51-40.

However, Memphis outscored Los Angeles 24-15 in the third to pull away for
good. Memphis has won seven straight against the Clippers.

Grizzlies head man Mike Fratello is 23-3 lifetime against the Clippers as a
head coach. The Grizzlies are 8-6 under Fratello.

This was the third largest margin of victory for the Grizzlies this season.
